Smith Named to ABCA Northeast Region First Team

Former University of Maine baseball standout Curt Smith (Willemstad, Curacao) was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association Northeast Region First Team announced on Wednesday, June 18. It is just the latest honor for Smith who wrapped up a remarkable career at Maine in May. He joins Stony Brook's Mike Stephen as the lone players from America East selected for the first team. Smith was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2008 MLB First-Year Player Draft.  More
