Jermaine Walker (Maine '06) enters his first season as a defensive assistant coach on the Black Bear football staff. A standout linebacker for Maine from 2002-05, Walker was named to the 2005 All-Atlantic 10 First-Team after he recorded over 100 tackles that season. A senior co-captain in 2005, Walker turned in one of his finest performances against Nebraska, when he recorded 14 tackles, broke up a pass and had two tackles for loss. Following his senior season, Walker spent some time in the rookie mini-camp with the Washington Redskins. He graduated for Maine with a bachelor's degree in child development. |
